RALEIGH, NC – January 27, 2025 – Carolina Community Impact (CCI), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering small business owners in North Carolina, is thrilled to announce a $6 million grant investment from Consumer Education Services Inc. (CESI). This substantial funding will enhance CCI’s core programs: small business lending services, technical assistance and accessible housing counseling.

CCI will utilize the $6 million in funding, which spans three years from 2025 through 2027, to further implement its three pillar comprehensive strategy that empowers individuals, supports businesses, and drives economic growth across the state:
Small Business Lending Services: CCI’s small business lending services provide entrepreneurs with access to essential capital, enabling them to start, sustain, and grow their businesses. By offering flexible and affordable financing options, CCI helps small business owners overcome financial barriers and create jobs within their communities.
Technical Assistance (TA): Through its technical assistance programs, CCI equips entrepreneurs with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to effectively manage and grow their businesses. Services such as business plan development, financial management guidance, and credit counseling help small business owners navigate challenges and make informed decisions.
Accessible Housing Counseling: CCI’s housing counseling services provide individuals and families with expert guidance on homeownership, financial literacy, and foreclosure prevention. By ensuring that North Carolinians have access to safe, affordable housing, CCI supports economic stability and community development.
