About Us

Our Mission

Carolina Community Impact (CCI) is a federally certified, nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) based in the Research Triangle, NC, serving all of North Carolina. Since 2019, our mission has been to provide capital, educational guidance, and innovative tools—including the integration of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence—to underserved communities, one business at a time.

Our goal is to help small businesses create jobs and economic opportunities that benefit current and future generations.

Our Commitment

We are committed to empowering small business owners by offering financial resources, technical assistance, and forward-looking training. By incorporating AI education and tools into our programming, we help entrepreneurs work smarter, streamline operations, and remain competitive in a changing economy.

We believe in working together—with integrity and a caring attitude—to build a more prosperous and resilient community.

Our Impact

From the coast to the mountains, CCI has led statewide initiatives to support and invest in historically underinvested communities.
