Fisher is aware of the challenges that small businesses face, and the answer lies in education and understanding processes for lending, capital acquisition, and growth. It is how he services his clientele at HBC Consulting. “I try to bridge that gap in our discussions to make sure they are in sync.”
As an SBA lender, Fisher shared that the language of financing can also be somewhat of a barrier for companies entering this space. He enjoys lessening anxieties about what could be a company’s first attempts at establishing the banking assistance for its business.
Fisher is ready to bring this experience to CCI board members. “Knowledge of how companies can start at one level and transition to expand their capital base to grow and become larger companies is what I do day to day. It will be a natural transition to work with the organization to help companies do what they do.” He hopes to reach a broader audience.
Currently located in Charlotte, NC, Fisher has lived in North Carolina for 40 years amongst his adult children and grandchildren. He holds an undergraduate degree in Business and Finance and an MBA degree from the University of Wisconsin.
