Kayla’s journey to entrepreneurship began during her college years when she worked in a bakery and dreamed of one day owning her own. It wasn’t until a pivotal moment in church that the pastor’s words ignited a fire within her. “Seek first the kingdom of God, and all else will follow,” he said, and from that moment, Kayla embarked on a journey to bring her bakery dreams to life.
With a vision fueled by faith and determination, Kayla set out to make Baked with Grace a reality. But as a startup, she faced the daunting challenge of securing capital. That’s when she discovered Carolina Community Impact (CCI) through the SBA website—a beacon of hope in her quest for funding.
